Here we take a second look at the music sector now that Pandora has gone public. Can anyone catch Pandora? There are a host of challengers all seeking to dethrone the king by delivering unlimited music to any device. There is a lot of competition in this space and very little margin. Many of these companies seem to be losing ground. We think the winners in music discovery and customized radio are decided.

We see interesting innovation building bridges between artists and their fans (Vevo, Eventful and Our Nation). Ticketing continues to be an area that looks promising with Ticketfly and RazorGator. Overall, however, we don't see many exciting companies in this sector.
